ART 4180 : Workshop in Visual Journals

This course what designed as a hybrid model during a 4 week summer semester. On Tuesdays we met in person in the studio, Wednesday-Friday were online independent learning/studio days, Monday was online meeting synchronously.

The course covered the history of books, paper, and writing. While the studio covered paper making, book making, book binding, calligraphy and illuminated manuscripts. The course concluded with a gallery Exhibition.
