Community Art Education
This course introduces art students (studio and art education) to art learning in gallery, museums, community centers, other diverse community-based locations. Students explore art career options with field experiences
while learning art education concepts: lesson making, budgeting, and marketing. The project based learning includes designing a gallery, learning and practicing conservation and restoration, community center class evaluation, open art studio as a business, art crimes, and the museum education project.

Museum Education Project
The goal of this project was to educate the general public (any age) about art, art history, and/or art making. Students were encouraged to follow their own inquiry, allowing them to research into a topic they were interested in and curious about.
ASSIGNMENT
You will create an educational video that is inspired by a piece of art in the gallery, and includes an art project that students can make at home.
Here are some examples:
